Description
This festive Shamrock Fudge is a sweet treat to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! With vibrant green swirls and a rich, creamy texture, it’s the perfect no-bake dessert for your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup green candy melts (or food coloring)
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional for decoration)
Instructions
- Prepare the Fudge Base: In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter, stirring constantly until smooth. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Divide the Fudge: Pour half of the white chocolate mixture into a separate bowl. Add the green candy melts or food coloring to one bowl and mix well to achieve a vibrant green color.
- Layer the Fudge: In an 8×8-inch baking dish lined with parchment paper, pour the white fudge mixture first. Then, layer the green fudge mixture on top, creating a swirl effect by gently swirling with a knife or toothpick.
- Set the Fudge: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or until firm.
- Serve and Decorate: Once set, cut the fudge into squares and top with mini chocolate chips or additional green sprinkles, if desired.
Notes
- For a stronger green color, add more food coloring to the green fudge mixture until you reach the desired shade.
- You can also add a pinch of sea salt to the fudge for a salted caramel flavor twist.
