Description

This warm and cheesy Cheddar Jalapeño Pull Apart Bread is loaded with melty cheese and pickled jalapeños, making it the perfect spicy, savory snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced pickled jalapeño peppers, drained

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Butter a loaf pan, then line it with parchment paper, ensuring it covers the bottom and sides for easy removal.
  • Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, approximately 10×20 inches.
  • Add Toppings: Brush the melted butter over the dough. Evenly sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the buttered dough, then top with sliced jalapeños.
  • Cut and Stack the Dough: Using a sharp knife, cut the dough lengthwise into three long strips. Then, cut each strip into six squares. Carefully stack four to six squares at a time, trying to keep as much cheese intact as possible.
  • Place in the Pan: Place each stack of squares vertically into the prepared loaf pan, arranging them snugly next to each other.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, until the bread is puffed and golden brown.
  • Serve: Allow to cool slightly before serving. For added flavor, serve with warm marinara sauce or ranch dressing on the side.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding herbs like oregano or basil to the cheese mixture.
