Description

A creamy and crunchy cheese ball made with cheddar, cream cheese, and pecans, perfect for parties and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups (200g) cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
  • 1 cup (100g) pecans, finely chopped

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.
  • Add the shredded cheddar cheese and mix until evenly incorporated.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • After chilling, gather the mixture into a ball shape using greased hands if necessary.
  • Roll the cheese ball in chopped pecans, pressing gently to coat evenly.
  • Serve at room temperature with crackers.
