Description

Cheese Dreams are crispy, buttery grilled cheese sandwiches with gooey melted cheese inside, perfect for a quick and comforting snack or meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices of bread (white or whole wheat)
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese (or your favorite melting cheese)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • Optional: garlic powder or herbs for extra flavor


Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each bread slice evenly.
  3. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, onto the skillet.
  4. Add 2 slices of cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.
  5. Top with another slice of bread, butter side up.
  6. Cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese starts to melt, about 3–4 minutes.
  7. Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until golden brown and cheese is fully melted, another 3–4 minutes.
  8. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use a mix of cheeses like cheddar and mozzarella for extra gooeyness.
  • For added flavor, sprinkle a little garlic powder or fresh herbs on the buttered bread before cooking.
  • Serve with tomato soup or a simple salad for a complete meal.
