Cheese Dreams are crispy, buttery grilled cheese sandwiches with gooey melted cheese inside, perfect for a quick and comforting snack or meal.

- 4 slices of bread (white or whole wheat)
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese (or your favorite melting cheese)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- Optional: garlic powder or herbs for extra flavor
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each bread slice evenly.
- Place one slice of bread, butter side down, onto the skillet.
- Add 2 slices of cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.
- Top with another slice of bread, butter side up.
- Cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese starts to melt, about 3–4 minutes.
- Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until golden brown and cheese is fully melted, another 3–4 minutes.
- Remove from skillet, slice, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use a mix of cheeses like cheddar and mozzarella for extra gooeyness.
- For added flavor, sprinkle a little garlic powder or fresh herbs on the buttered bread before cooking.
- Serve with tomato soup or a simple salad for a complete meal.
