A flavorful twist on classic cheeseburgers wrapped in a soft tortilla, loaded with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, pickles, grilled onions, and special sauce inspired by ‘Animal Style’ flavors.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup pickles, sliced
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- For Animal Style Sauce:
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, heat vegetable oil and cook onions until caramelized, about 8-10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook ground beef until browned and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.
- Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, salt, and pepper to make the Animal Style sauce.
- Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
- To assemble each burrito, layer cooked ground beef, caramelized onions, a slice of cheese, pickles, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a generous drizzle of the Animal Style sauce.
- Roll up the tortilla tightly, folding in the sides as you go.
- Optional: Toast the burritos in a skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted.
- Serve warm with extra sauce on the side.
