Description
A juicy meatloaf inspired by cheeseburgers, loaded with ground beef, cheddar cheese, and classic seasonings, topped with a tangy ketchup glaze.

- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup ketchup (for glaze)
- 1 tbsp brown sugar (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, garlic, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Transfer mixture to the loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
- In a small bowl, mix ketchup and brown sugar. Spread half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, spread remaining glaze on top, then bake for another 15 minutes until cooked through.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Use ground turkey or chicken for a leaner version.
- Add diced pickles or mustard to the meat mixture for more cheeseburger flavor.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or a fresh salad.
