Description

Cheeseburger Quesadilla combines seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and classic burger toppings sandwiched between crispy tortillas for a quick and delicious meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup pickles, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Optional: sliced tomatoes and shredded lettuce for serving
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter, for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with diced onion until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  2. Season beef with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well and remove from heat.
  3. Lay one tortilla flat in a clean skillet over medium heat and sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over it.
  4. Spread half of the cooked beef over the cheese, then sprinkle chopped pickles, drizzle ketchup and mustard over the beef.
  5. Top with additional cheese and then cover with a second tortilla.
  6. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom tortilla is golden and cheese starts to melt, then carefully flip and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes.
  7. Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, then slice into wedges.
  8. Repeat steps for the second quesadilla.
  9. Serve warm with optional sliced tomatoes and shredded lettuce.

Notes

  • Add a dash of hot sauce for a spicy kick.
  • Use whole wheat or low-carb tortillas for a healthier version.
