Cheeseburger Tater Tot Nachos are a fun and tasty twist on traditional nachos. Crispy tater tots are piled high with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, pickles, and all the fixings you’d expect from a cheeseburger. Perfect for game day, parties, or a hearty snack!

- 1 bag frozen tater tots
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup pickles, sliced
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup chopped lettuce (optional)
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread the frozen tater tots evenly on a baking sheet and bake according to package instructions, usually about 20–25 minutes, until crispy and golden.
- While the tater tots are baking, cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain any excess fat, then stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water. Let it simmer for 5 minutes, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Once the tater tots are done, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the cooked beef mixture evenly over the tater tots.
- Top with both shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese, then return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the cheese has melted and is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and top with sliced pickles, diced tomatoes, chopped onion, ketchup, and mustard. Add optional toppings like lettuce and jalapeños if desired.
