Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb beef sirloin or ribeye, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 (20 oz) package cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook Tortellini: Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Sauté Steak and Vegetables: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- Cook Vegetables: In the same skillet, add onions, bell peppers, and garlic. Sauté until vegetables are tender and onions are translucent, about 4-5 minutes.
- Make Provolone Sauce: Lower heat to medium. Add the heavy cream to the skillet, stirring to incorporate the flavors. Slowly add provolone, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
- Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked tortellini and beef back to the skillet. Stir to coat everything evenly in the creamy provolone sauce.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot. Enjoy!
Notes
- Use fresh or frozen cheese tortellini as preferred.
- You can substitute the beef with chicken for a lighter version.
- Add extra cheese for a richer flavor, or adjust the cream for a lighter sauce.
