These Cheesy Air Fryer Lasagna Fritta are a crispy, golden delight with the perfect balance of cheesy goodness and savory flavors. - 9 Lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
- 1 cup Ricotta cheese
- 1½ cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp Fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tbsp Olive oil, for brushing
- 1 cup Marinara sauce, for dipping
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- ½ cup All-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, basil, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Lay out the cooked lasagna noodles on a flat surface. Spread a spoonful of the cheese mixture on each noodle and roll up tightly. Cut each roll into 3 equal pieces.
- Place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in three separate bowls. Dip each lasagna roll in flour, then in egg, and finally in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to coat.
- Brush the air fryer basket with olive oil and arrange the lasagna fritta in a single layer. Spray the tops with a little more oil.
- Air fry for 7-9 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Flip halfway through for even crispiness.
- Serve immediately with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
- For extra crispy fritta, you can spray a little more oil on top halfway through the cooking process.
- Feel free to add your favorite herbs to the cheese mixture for added flavor.
- If you don’t have an air fryer, you can bake these in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes.
