- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese sauce)
- 4 large flour tortillas
Instructions
- Cook the Beef:
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced onions and cook until soft, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add ground beef, breaking it apart while cooking. Season with garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook until the beef is browned, about 7-10 minutes, then drain excess fat if necessary.
- Assemble Burritos:
- Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave to make them pliable.
- Layer ground beef mixture, diced tomatoes, cilantro, shredded lettuce, and cheddar cheese in the center of each tortilla.
- Drizzle cheese sauce over the filling if using.
- Wrap and Serve:
- Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up tightly from the bottom.
- Cut in half, and serve immediately.
