- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 8 flour tortillas (8-inch)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
- Sour cream and guacamole for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water as directed on packet; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spread about 1/4 cup of the beef mixture evenly on each tortilla.
- Sprinkle cheese over the beef, then roll up each tortilla tightly.
- Place seam side down in the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are golden.
- Garnish with green onions if desired and serve with sour cream and guacamole.
Notes
- Use corn tortillas for a gluten-free option, but warm them first to prevent cracking.
- Customize with black beans, corn, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
- Leftovers reheat well in the microwave or oven.
