Description

Soft tortillas rolled up with seasoned ground beef and melted cheese, baked until golden and delicious — a fun twist on classic tacos.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 8 flour tortillas (8-inch)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
  • Sour cream and guacamole for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water as directed on packet; simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Spread about 1/4 cup of the beef mixture evenly on each tortilla.
  5. Sprinkle cheese over the beef, then roll up each tortilla tightly.
  6. Place seam side down in the prepared baking dish.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes until cheese is melted and edges are golden.
  8. Garnish with green onions if desired and serve with sour cream and guacamole.

Notes

  • Use corn tortillas for a gluten-free option, but warm them first to prevent cracking.
  • Customize with black beans, corn, or jalapeños for extra flavor.
  • Leftovers reheat well in the microwave or oven.
