Description

These Cheesy Bolognese Roll-Ups combine tender lasagna sheets with a rich Bolognese sauce and a creamy cheese filling. Perfect for family dinners, they are comforting, delicious, and sure to impress!


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna sheets, cooked al dente
  • 3 cups Bolognese sauce, rich and meaty
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the shredded mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, and beaten egg. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Assemble the Roll-Ups: Lay out cooked lasagna sheets. Spread Bolognese sauce over each sheet, then add the cheese mixture. Roll up each sheet carefully.
  • Arrange in Baking Dish: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a thin layer of Bolognese sauce in a baking dish. Place roll-ups seam side down in the dish, pour remaining Bolognese sauce on top, and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy with a side salad or garlic bread.
