Description
A comforting and flavorful one-pan meal featuring seasoned ground beef mixed with creamy Boursin cheese, tossed with crispy potatoes for a cheesy, savory skillet dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup diced potatoes (about 2 medium potatoes)
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 4 oz Boursin cheese (garlic & herb flavor)
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced potatoes and cook until crispy and golden, about 10-12 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
- Stir in tomato sauce, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes to combine flavors.
- Lower heat and add Boursin cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
- Return crispy potatoes to the skillet and mix everything together, coating the potatoes with the cheesy beef mixture.
- Cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Substitute Boursin with cream cheese mixed with garlic and herbs if unavailable.
- Add diced bell peppers or mushrooms for extra veggies.
- For a spicier version, add a dash of cayenne or hot sauce.
