Description

A comforting and flavorful one-pan meal featuring seasoned ground beef mixed with creamy Boursin cheese, tossed with crispy potatoes for a cheesy, savory skillet dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup diced potatoes (about 2 medium potatoes)
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 4 oz Boursin cheese (garlic & herb flavor)
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced potatoes and cook until crispy and golden, about 10-12 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes to combine flavors.
  5. Lower heat and add Boursin cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  6. Return crispy potatoes to the skillet and mix everything together, coating the potatoes with the cheesy beef mixture.
  7. Cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Substitute Boursin with cream cheese mixed with garlic and herbs if unavailable.
  • Add diced bell peppers or mushrooms for extra veggies.
  • For a spicier version, add a dash of cayenne or hot sauce.
