Description

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed and chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease or line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, prepare the cornbread mix according to the package instructions, adding milk, eggs, and melted butter.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, steamed and chopped broccoli, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
  6. Let the cornbread cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes
