Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 loaf of refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade dough)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup cooked pepperoni, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for some heat)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface, shaping it into a rectangle (about 10×14 inches).
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the mozzarella cheese, cooked sausage, pepperoni, bacon, green bell pepper, red onion, black olives, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  4. Evenly spread the cheese and meat mixture along the center of the dough, leaving about 1 inch on each side.
  5. Fold the sides of the dough over the filling to create a loaf shape. Pinch the edges together to seal.
  6. Brush the outside of the bread with the melted butter, then sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Place the loaf seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted inside.
  9. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy your Cheesy Garbage Bread Delight!

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the filling with your favorite pizza toppings! You can add mushrooms, ham, or even pepper jack cheese for extra flavor.
  • For a crispier crust, you can bake the bread directly on a pizza stone.
  • If you prefer a lighter version, you can reduce the amount of cheese or use turkey sausage instead of regular sausage.

  • This bread is best served fresh but can be reheated in the oven for a few minutes if needed.
