Description

These Cheesy Ranch Buffalo Chicken Pretzel Bites are a fun and delicious appetizer! With crispy pretzel bites stuffed with spicy buffalo chicken, gooey cheese, and a hint of ranch flavor, they’re perfect for game day or any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce (plus more for serving)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package refrigerated pretzel dough (or homemade dough)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Salt, for sprinkling
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, and cheddar cheese until fully combined.
  3. Roll out the pretzel dough and cut it into small squares or rounds, about 2 inches in diameter.
  4. Place a spoonful of the buffalo chicken mixture in the center of each dough piece. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling to seal and form a bite-sized pocket.
  5. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt to the water. Gently drop the filled dough bites into the boiling water for about 30 seconds. Remove them with a slotted spoon and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Brush the pretzel bites with the beaten egg wash and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
  7. Bake the pretzel bites for 15–20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven, brush with melted butter, and serve warm with extra buffalo sauce on the side.

Notes

  • For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of buffalo sauce or use a mild buffalo sauce.
  • You can substitute the ranch dressing with blue cheese dressing for a more classic buffalo flavor.
