- 12 oz pasta shells
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and salsa to the beef. Stir and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in cooked pasta shells and sour cream until well combined.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, cover, and let it melt for 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with cooked lentils or plant-based meat.
- Add black beans or corn for extra texture and flavor.
