Ingredients

  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 potato, grated
  • 3 eggs
  • 50 mL (1/4 cup) milk
  • 130 g (1 cup) flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 10 g baking soda
  • 200 g cheese, grated (cheddar or your choice)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Batter: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, flour, salt, and baking soda until smooth.
  • Add Vegetables and Cheese: Stir in the chopped red bell pepper, green onions, onion, grated potato, and grated cheese until well combined.
  • Cook the Fritters: Heat a pan over low heat and transfer the mixture into the pan, spreading it evenly. Cover the pan and cook for about 6 minutes. Carefully flip the fritters and cook for an additional 3 minutes until golden brown.
