Description

This creamy and indulgent Cherry Garcia Fudge is inspired by the popular ice cream flavor, featuring sweetened condensed milk, white chocolate, and a mix of dried and maraschino cherries, plus a hint of dark chocolate. It’s the perfect treat for any cherry and chocolate lover!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups white chocolate (chopped or chips)
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries (roughly chopped)
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries (halved and drained)
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Fudge Base
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the white chocolate and sweetened condensed milk, stirring constantly until smooth and fully combined.
Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Step 2: Mix in the Cherries and Chocolate
Fold in the dried cherries, maraschino cherries, and chocolate chips. Make sure everything is evenly distributed.
  • Step 3: Set the Fudge
Line a small square baking dish (8×8-inch or similar) with parchment paper.
Pour the fudge mixture into the dish and spread it into an even layer.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set.
  • Step 4: Serve
Once the fudge has set, cut it into small squares and serve.

Notes

  • Storage: Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • Flavor Variations: Add nuts like chopped walnuts or almonds for extra crunch.
  • Sweetness: Adjust the amount of sweetened condensed milk if you want a less sweet fudge.
  • Chocolate: Feel free to use milk chocolate or dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet.
  • Serving Tip: For extra flair, drizzle melted dark chocolate over the top before refrigerating.
