- 2 flatbreads or bagels, sliced in half
- 1 cup cooked chicken, sliced or shredded
- 1/2 cup chorizo, diced
- 8 oz halloumi cheese, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup hot honey (honey mixed with chili flakes)
- 1/2 cup arugula or baby spinach
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced chorizo and cook until crispy, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add halloumi slices and cook 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Lightly toast flatbreads or bagels under the broiler or in a toaster.
- In the skillet, warm the cooked chicken with minced garlic, salt, and pepper for 2-3 minutes.
- Assemble each flatbread or bagel half by layering arugula, chicken, chorizo, and halloumi.
- Drizzle generously with hot honey over the top.
- Serve immediately while warm for the best flavor.

- Adjust the hot honey amount to your preferred spice level.
- Substitute halloumi with mozzarella or feta if unavailable.
