- 10 bamboo skewers
- 2/3 cup soy sauce
- 2/3 cup mirin
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar

Instructions
- Soak Skewers: Place bamboo skewers in cold water for 5 minutes.
- Make Yakitori Sauce: In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, mirin, and sugar. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Cut Chicken and Green Onions: Cut chicken and green onions into 2-inch pieces.
- Assemble Skewers: Thread chicken and green onions onto soaked skewers. Brush with yakitori sauce.
- Grill: Grill skewers over medium heat for 5 minutes, turning regularly.
- Serve: Remove skewers from heat and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
