Description

A quick and healthy stir-fry combining tender chicken with fresh vegetables, packed with flavor and perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  • Heat butter in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add sliced onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  • Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Stir in cabbage, carrot, and bell pepper. Cook for another 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  • Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well to combine.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to control the spiciness.
  • Can substitute chicken with shrimp, beef, or tofu.
