Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, butter, and sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until fully combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until the dough comes together.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips (and mini chocolate chips, if using).
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For extra cheesecake flavor, you can add a small pinch of lemon zest or a teaspoon of lemon juice to the dough.
