- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Roll dough into 4-inch long, thin sticks (about 1/2 inch thick) and place on prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
- For crispier sticks, flatten slightly before baking.
