Description

This decadent chocolate bark is packed with the flavors of sweet strawberries and rich chocolate, making it the perfect treat for any occasion. It’s easy to make and always a crowd favorite!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups dried strawberries (or freeze-dried strawberries for a crisp texture)
  • 12 oz semisweet chocolate (or milk chocolate)
  • 8 oz white chocolate (optional for drizzling)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional, for extra flavor)
  • Pinch of sea salt (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • Melt the semisweet chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring until smooth. You can also melt it using a double boiler.
  • Once melted, pour the chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer about ¼-inch thick.
  • Immediately sprinkle the dried or freeze-dried strawberries evenly over the chocolate. Gently press them down into the chocolate to secure them.
  • If using white chocolate, melt it and drizzle it over the top of the bark in a zigzag pattern for a decorative effect.
  • Optionally, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top to enhance the flavors.
  • Refrigerate the bark for at least 1 hour, or until completely set.
  • Once set, break the bark into pieces and serve or store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • For a fun twist, you can use dark chocolate for a richer flavor or add crushed nuts or sprinkles for texture.
  • If you don’t have freeze-dried strawberries, dried strawberries work fine, but they might be chewier.
  • If you prefer a less sweet option, opt for a high-cocoa dark chocolate.
