  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)

  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 1/4 cup whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 (3.9 oz) package chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup peppermint candies (crushed)
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup whipped topping (additional for topping)

Instructions

  • Create the Crust:
    • In a bowl, mix the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter until the crumbs are fully coated.
    • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to create the crust. Place in the fridge to set.
  • Make the Cream Cheese Layer:
    • In a separate bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, peppermint extract, and 2 tablespoons milk until smooth and creamy.
    • Fold in the Cool Whip and mix until combined.
    • Spread this layer evenly over the chilled Oreo crust.
  • Prepare the Chocolate Pudding Layer:
    • In another bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and 2 cups cold milk until it starts to thicken.
    • Spread the chocolate pudding layer over the cream cheese layer.
  • Top with Whipped Topping and Peppermint:
    • Spread the remaining whipped topping evenly over the chocolate pudding layer.
    • Sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies and mini chocolate chips on top for a festive finish.
  • Chill and Serve:
    • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the layers to set.
