- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Make the Dough: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Add the Cake Mix: Gradually add the yellow cake mix and mix until a thick, sticky dough forms.
- Fold in the Sprinkles: If using, fold in the holiday sprinkles for a festive touch.
- Shape the Cookies: Place powdered sugar in a small bowl. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, then roll each dough ball in the powdered sugar to coat fully.
