Description

This festive Christmas Popcorn is a delightful mix of sweet and salty flavors, perfect for holiday gatherings. Coated in white chocolate and mixed with pretzels, M&M’s, and crushed candy canes, this treat is not only delicious but also visually appealing!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 cups popped popcorn
  • 12 oz white chocolate or vanilla almond bark, melted
  • 1 cup mini pretzels, broken into pieces
  • 1 cup red and green M&M’s
  • 1/4 cup red and green sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare Popcorn: Pop 10 cups of popcorn. Remove any unpopped kernels and place the popcorn in a large bowl.
  • Add Mix-Ins: Add the broken pretzel pieces, M&M’s, and crushed candy canes (if using) to the popcorn.
  • Drizzle with White Chocolate: Melt the white chocolate or almond bark, then drizzle it over the popcorn mixture, stirring gently to coat evenly.
  • Add Sprinkles: While the chocolate is still warm, sprinkle the red and green sprinkles over the popcorn and stir gently to distribute.
  • Let Set: Spread the coated popcorn on a baking sheet. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
  • Break and Serve: Break the popcorn into clusters and serve. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • For a peppermint twist, include crushed candy canes.
  • Ensure the chocolate is melted gently to avoid burning.
