Description

A decadent dessert combining the rich, creamy texture of cheesecake with the irresistible crunch of deep-fried Oreos, coated in a sweet cinnamon churro coating.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreos
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
  2. Using a spoon, carefully add a small amount of the cheesecake filling into the center of each Oreo cookie, gently pressing the cookie halves back together.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, milk, and egg until smooth to form the batter.
  4. In a frying pan, heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  5. Dip the stuffed Oreos into the batter, coating them completely, then carefully drop them into the hot oil. Fry for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the fried Oreos and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  8. While the Oreos are still warm, roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • These churro cheesecake deep-fried Oreos are best served warm right after frying.
  • For extra flavor, you can drizzle them with chocolate or caramel sauce.
  • If you don’t have cinnamon sugar, you can easily make your own by mixing equal parts cinnamon and sugar.
