Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and 1/2 tsp cinnamon.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, stirring until combined.
- Scoop the dough into tablespoon-sized balls and place them on the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
- For the glaze: Mix the powdered sugar, milk, and 1/2 tsp cinnamon until smooth, then drizzle over cooled cookies.
