Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and milk until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle about 1/4-inch thick.
- Brush the melted butter over the dough and sprinkle evenly with the brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log. Slice into 1/2-inch thick rounds.
- Place the slices onto the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- For the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over the cooled cookies.
