Ingredients

Scale

For the Cinnamon Maple Whipped Butter:

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons Cinnamon Sugar Crumb Cake Mix (from packet 2)
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup

For the Waffle Batter:

  • 1 package Cinnamon Sugar Crumb Cake Mix (divided into packets 1 and 2)
  • 1¼ cups 2% milk
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups assorted fresh berries (blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, and/or strawberries)

Instructions

  • Prepare Cinnamon Maple Whipped Butter:
In a medium bowl, combine ½ cup softened butter, 2 tablespoons of the Cinnamon Sugar Crumb Cake Mix (from packet 2), and maple syrup. Using an electric mixer, whip until well combined, light, and fluffy. Set aside.
  • Make the Waffle Batter:
In a large bowl, combine the contents of Cinnamon Sugar Crumb Cake Mix packet 1, the remaining packet 2 mix, milk, eggs, and the remaining ¼ cup melted butter. Whisk the ingredients until fully combined.
  • Cook the Waffles:
Preheat your Belgian waffle maker according to the manufacturer’s directions. Once hot, add the batter to the waffle maker and cook to your desired level of doneness. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  • Serve:
Serve the waffles with a dollop of cinnamon maple whipped butter and a generous serving of fresh berries.

Notes

  • Ensure the waffle maker is well preheated to achieve crispy waffles.
  • Customize the berry selection based on your preference or seasonal availability.
  • You can add a dusting of powdered sugar or a drizzle of extra maple syrup for added sweetness.
