Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted (for the topping)
  • 1/4 cup sugar + 1 tsp cinnamon (for the topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Set to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, sugar, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
  • Add Dry Ingredients: Slowly mix in flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Bake: Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes.
  • Add Cinnamon Sugar Topping: Brush the top of the warm loaf with melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
  • Serve: Allow to cool, then slice and enjoy the fall flavors!
