- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- Optional: chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine crushed cookies and melted butter until mixture resembles wet sand.
- Press the cookie mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
- In a saucepan over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips. Stir constantly until smooth and melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Allow the fudge mixture to cool slightly, then pour it over the crust in the pan.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream evenly over the chocolate fudge layer.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, until set.
- Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings or dust with cocoa powder if desired.
