Description

Condensed Milk & Cinnamon Doughnut Puffs are light, fluffy, and irresistibly delicious. These bite-sized puffs are coated with a sweet cinnamon-sugar mixture and drizzled with creamy condensed milk for an indulgent treat that’s perfect for breakfast, dessert, or an afternoon snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Doughnut Puffs: 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • For the Cinnamon-Sugar Coating: 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • For the Condensed Milk Drizzle: 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Make the doughnut puff batter: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and sugar. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, milk, condensed milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  2. Heat the oil: In a deep frying pan or pot, heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil over medium heat to 350°F (175°C). You can check the temperature by dropping a small amount of batter into the oil—if it sizzles and rises to the top, the oil is ready.
  3. Fry the doughnut puffs: Using a tablespoon or small ice cream scoop, carefully drop spoonfuls of the doughnut batter into the hot oil. Fry the puffs in batches for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and cooked through. Use a slotted spoon to remove the puffs from the oil and drain them on a plate lined with paper towels.
  4. Coat the doughnut puffs: In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the coating. While the doughnut puffs are still warm, roll them in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.
  5. Make the condensed milk drizzle: In a small microwave-safe bowl, heat the condensed milk for 15-20 seconds to soften it. Drizzle it over the cinnamon-coated doughnut puffs.
  6. Serve: Serve the doughnut puffs warm and enjoy the sweet, cinnamon-coated goodness with a touch of creamy condensed milk drizzle!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of nutmeg or vanilla extract to the doughnut batter.
  • If you prefer a lighter option, you can bake the doughnut puffs at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.
  • These doughnut puffs are best enjoyed fresh, but you can store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days.
