Description

Transform your favorite brownie mix into soft, chewy cookies with a rich chocolate flavor. This easy recipe is perfect for when you’re craving something sweet but don’t want to go through the hassle of making full brownies. With just a few extra ingredients and minimal effort, these cookies are ready in no time!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of your favorite brownie mix (any flavor)
  • Eggs (as specified on the brownie mix package)
  • Oil or melted butter (as specified on the brownie mix package)
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional, for extra chocolate goodness)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for enhanced flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions, using the recommended amount of eggs and oil/melted butter.
  3. If desired, stir in the chocolate chips and vanilla extract for added richness.
  4. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 8–10 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still slightly soft.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 15–30 minutes before baking.
  • Experiment with different brownie mixes (e.g., fudge, peanut butter, or white chocolate) to create unique flavors.
  • Add-ins like nuts, sprinkles, or crushed candy bars can take these cookies to the next level.
