- 1/2 cup coleslaw (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Garlic Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, white vinegar, Dijon mustard, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Adjust the seasoning to taste, then set aside.
- Cook the Sausage: In a pan over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage until browned and crumbled. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Warm the Pita: Heat the pita bread in a skillet or microwave for a few seconds until soft and warm.
- Assemble the Wraps: On each pita, layer the cooked roasted pork and crumbled sausage. Top with a spoonful of coleslaw and drizzle generously with the garlic sauce.
