Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat for easy removal.

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter, corn syrup, and sugar. Stir occasionally until the mixture comes to a simmer and the sugar has dissolved, about 2-3 minutes.

Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Once boiling, let it cook for 3 minutes without stirring to allow the syrup to thicken slightly.
