Description

These Cotton Candy Rice Krispies Twists are a colorful and fun twist on the classic treat. With a hint of cotton candy flavor and vibrant colors, they make a perfect treat for parties or any special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
  • 1 tsp cotton candy flavoring (or cotton candy extract)
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • Food coloring (pink, blue, or any colors you prefer)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the marshmallows to the pot and stir constantly until completely melted.
  4. Stir in the cotton candy flavoring and a few drops of food coloring to achieve the desired color.
  5. Once the marshmallow mixture is ready, quickly add the Rice Krispies cereal and stir until fully coated.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press down gently to form an even layer.
  7. Allow to cool completely at room temperature or refrigerate for about 30 minutes to speed up the cooling process.
  8. Once set, cut into squares or twist into fun shapes.
  9. Optionally, dust with powdered sugar for an extra sweet touch before serving.
