- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 6 oz canned crab meat, drained
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Sweet and sour sauce, for dipping
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and black pepper until well mixed.
- Place a small spoonful of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, then fold over into a triangle shape and press to seal.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
