Description

Delightfully crispy and creamy, these Crab Rangoon are perfect as an appetizer or party snack. Filled with a savory mixture of crab meat and cream cheese, they’re sure to impress your guests!


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 6 oz canned crab meat, drained
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Sweet and sour sauce, for dipping

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and black pepper until well mixed.
  • Place a small spoonful of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, then fold over into a triangle shape and press to seal.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C).
  • Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
