Description

These Cranberry Brie Bites are the perfect combination of buttery puff pastry, creamy Brie cheese, and tangy cranberry sauce. They make an elegant appetizer for holiday gatherings or any special occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 small wheel of Brie cheese, cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (optional)
  • Honey for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a mini muffin tin or line it with mini muffin liners.
  • Prepare the Puff Pastry: Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut the pastry into 24 small squares.
  • Assemble the Bites: Press each puff pastry square into the mini muffin tin cups. Place a small cube of Brie cheese in the center of each pastry square.
  • Add Cranberry Sauce: Spoon about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top of each Brie cube. Add chopped pecans or walnuts on top, if desired, for extra crunch.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the Brie is melted.
  • Garnish: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh rosemary for a burst of flavor. Drizzle a little honey over the top for extra sweetness, if desired.
  • Serve: Let the bites cool slightly before serving. They are best enjoyed warm but are also delicious at room temperature.
