Description

These delightful Cranberry & Turkey Stuffing Balls are a perfect way to utilize leftover turkey and add a festive twist with dried cranberries. They’re simple to make, packed with flavor, and make a great appetizer or side dish for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of bread crumbs
  • 1 cup of cooked turkey, shredded
  • 1/2 cup of dried cranberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup of onion, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup of celery, diced
  • 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup of chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  • Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Combine dry ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread crumbs, cooked turkey, and chopped cranberries.
  • Sauté vegetables: In a skillet, sauté the onion and celery over medium heat until soft, about 5-7 minutes. Allow to cool slightly.
  • Add vegetables and seasonings: Add the sautéed vegetables, parsley, chicken broth, thyme, salt, and pepper to the bread crumb mixture. Mix thoroughly.
  • Add egg: Beat the egg in a separate bowl and then add it to the mixture, combining well until everything is evenly coated.
  • Form balls: Scoop out portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Bake: Place the stuffing balls on a greased baking sheet, spacing them evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
