- 2 cups of bread crumbs
- 1 cup of cooked turkey, shredded
- 1/2 cup of dried cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup of onion, finely diced
- 1/2 cup of celery, diced
- 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup of chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine dry ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread crumbs, cooked turkey, and chopped cranberries.
- Sauté vegetables: In a skillet, sauté the onion and celery over medium heat until soft, about 5-7 minutes. Allow to cool slightly.
- Add vegetables and seasonings: Add the sautéed vegetables, parsley, chicken broth, thyme, salt, and pepper to the bread crumb mixture. Mix thoroughly.
- Add egg: Beat the egg in a separate bowl and then add it to the mixture, combining well until everything is evenly coated.
- Form balls: Scoop out portions of the mixture and roll them into balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Bake: Place the stuffing balls on a greased baking sheet, spacing them evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
