Description

Tender chicken simmered in a rich, creamy butter and garlic sauce served alongside golden crispy fries for a comforting and flavorful meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into pieces
  • 4 tbsp butter, divided
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into fries
  • Optional: fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Toss potato fries with olive oil, salt, and pepper; spread evenly on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake fries for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  3. While fries bake, heat 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Add chicken pieces, season with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper; cook until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  6. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  7. In the same skillet, add remaining 2 tbsp butter, chicken broth, and heavy cream; simmer until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
  8. Return chicken to skillet, toss to coat in creamy garlic sauce; cook for another 2 minutes.
  9. Serve chicken with creamy garlic sauce alongside crispy fries. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Use skin-on chicken thighs for extra flavor.
  • Try seasoning fries with paprika or garlic powder for extra taste.
  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
