Description

This hearty and flavorful dish combines juicy garlic butter steak bites with spicy Cajun Alfredo twisted pasta. The rich, creamy Alfredo sauce with a Cajun kick perfectly complements the tender, flavorful steak bites, making for a satisfying and indulgent meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ribeye steaks or flank steak, sliced thinly
  • 12 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add butter and olive oil.
  3. Add the thinly sliced steak to the skillet and season with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Sear the steak for 4–5 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and beef broth, stirring to combine. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Return the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to coat with the sauce.
  8. Add the cooked steak back to the pan and toss everything together until evenly coated in the creamy Cajun sauce.
  9. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the mixture and cook for another 2–3 minutes until melted and smooth.
  10. Adjust seasoning as needed. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use ribeye for extra richness or flank steak for a leaner option.
  • Fettuccine holds the creamy sauce well, but penne works for a bite-sized version.
  • Add red pepper flakes for extra heat.
  • For a thinner sauce, add more broth or a splash of pasta water.
  • Can be made with chicken instead of steak for variation.
