- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season steak strips with 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning and a pinch of salt.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak for 1–2 minutes per side until browned and just cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, remaining Cajun seasoning, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook until sauce thickens slightly, 3–5 minutes.
- Add cooked penne and steak to the sauce. Toss to coat evenly and heat through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve immediately.
