- 1/2 cup sour cream

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the potatoes. Cook for about 12-15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add the sour cream, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper to the potatoes. Mash the potatoes until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until melted and fully incorporated.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
- Transfer the creamy cheesy potatoes to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
