Description

Ingredients

  • 3 cups frozen shredded hashbrowns, thawed
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce or cheese dip
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup diced green chilies (mild or spicy)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and grease a 9ร—9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded hashbrowns, cooked chicken, cheddar cheese, nacho cheese sauce, sour cream, green chilies, onion, tomatoes (if using), chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix well to combine all ingredients evenly.
  4. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve hot.
