Description

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef stew meat or beef tips, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz cremini or white mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet (1 oz) brown gravy mix
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the beef stew meat and sliced mushrooms in the slow cooker.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the soup mixture over the beef and mushrooms.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the beef is tender.
  5. Serve over rice or noodles and enjoy!

Notes

  • f you prefer a thicker sauce, you can stir in a tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with a little water during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
