- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (if needed)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, drained
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3–4 minutes. Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, heavy cream, and beef broth. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
- Let the sauce simmer for 5–6 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to coat evenly in the sauce.
- Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan until melted and combined. Adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and extra cheese if desired.

- Use ground turkey or Italian sausage for variation.
- Lighten it up by using half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
